Our Founding Story
It started over a meal…
Asian Commercial Professionals (ACP) was co-founded in 2003 over a dinner in San Francisco's Chinatown by three Asian American leaders in the commercial real estate, construction and facilities management industries.
They set out to create a safe community space for Asian Americans to share their experiences, resources and wisdom with one another. Opportunities are created for personal development and growth, offering annual scholarships to deserving Asian American students and young professionals. There is consistent member programming which rallies the community together to seek out Asian representation in their own workplaces.
